My son recently brought home a ceramic tile he made in art class. He was SO proud of it and he really wanted to display it in his bedroom. But none of the plate stands I had would work. They were all acrylic and were made specifically for plates, so his tile wouldn't fit. I said I'd figure it out. And as soon as I saw this, I knew it would be just perfect for his piece.I couldn't wait to test it out when it arrived. I opened it immediately. His tile fit perfectly! I left it on the kitchen counter so it would be waiting there when my son got home from school. He was so excited when he saw it! He took it upstairs right away and gave his tile pride of place on his bookshelf.For reference, his tile is about six inches tall and a quarter inch thick. I would say this could accommodate something slightly thicker, but not too much.I love that this comes as a set of two, because now I'm totally prepared, when my younger son brings home a similar tile project in a couple years! Haha!I am thrilled with this item. To see my son's face light up when he saw how well it held the piece of art he was so proud of totally made my whole week. Highly recommend!
