I LOVE the grit of this body polish and it had a slight odor when I used it. After I finished scrubbing my body I started rinsing it off and I felt like it wasn't rinsing off very well. The sand washed off well, but my skin was oily, so oily it was slippery and uncomfortable, so I wiped my body with an exfoliating mitt to remove some of the oil without using soap to scrub it to remove completely. After using the glove, I still felt the oil but wanted to agree with him when in doubt, so I went outside and dried myself with a towel. When I was completely dry I still felt a little oily and uncomfortable, but not terribly so I decided to wait it out anyway. 30 minutes later and my skin is oily and rough and the smell is so overpowering that my husband and I struggle with the smell. clean up what I like. BUT, when I use this I have to scrub thoroughly with soap and an exfoliating mitt. At $38 I definitely won't buy it again because I have other exfoliators that do just as well to remove dead skin but left my skin streak free and cost less.
