These are awesome lights. The main thing I like about these bulbs is that they don't get very hot, especially compared to previous lighting sets I've used. They are also battery compatible but come with power cords. When I'm shooting outdoors, the battery option comes in handy. I really like how the color temperature is controlled, which really helps with white balance. The lights are also color adjustable, ranging from red to blue to green to purple etc. The brightness is also adjustable from 0% to 100% which is nice. The barn doors are a great accessory as is the soft box screen that comes with the barn doors. Barn doors allow for directional lighting. I really like how tall the stands can be and also how short they can be adjusted. These lights are very light and easily broken. They are portable and compressible to fit in a conveniently sized bag, soft and durable. As a film student I have used many different lighting sets and so far this has been the best. Although there are only 2 bulbs in the kit they are very modern and work great. The fact that they're thin yet put out a fantastic light without overheating makes them the perfect set for any setting, especially if you're a student or independent filmmaker and your sets are small and crowded. If your landscape is large, I'm sure these lamps will do, to illuminate a large area. Especially since the brightness is adjustable. I highly recommend this product and have to say the customer service is excellent. I had a barn door knee problem and after contacting the manufacturer and seller they gave me a free replacement which is durable and fits perfectly.
