Slight disappointment - *update below* The bristles are very soft and produce endless lather with almost no effort. It's frustrating that the brush just falls onto the foam, leaving a few drips on your shirt or on the floor every time. A little difficult to work with with foam on the face. I'll keep trying this brush in the hope that I can learn the right technique for this (synthetic) brush, but so far I'm liking my Perfecto. The trick is to just dip it in hot water and squeeze out most of the water. It quickly gave me a thick thick lather that goes on and on. I recently received a can of shaving soap that doesn't lather well with my Perfecto brush (which is known for being a low lather soap) so I forced myself to use this brush and now one of the 3 cans/ I get really good suds from washing machines that just hold on. Well I would recommend this brush to most people but with the caveat that they squeeze out most of the water before using it.
