Honestly I can't complain because I bought them on sale for about $11. but the "wood" was soft enough that I could force the screws in, which I had to do to even try to actually screw them in because they were so small and difficult to manipulate and control. As soon as I got them on the first shelf, I hit something with a fastener and the screw fell out! he damaged the hole, so he was very loose there afterwards. It took me an embarrassingly long time to put them together, maybe it would work better if I used an electric drill, but the screws were so small I didn't think it was worth pulling them out. Anyway, I took out all the screws and Gorilla glued the fasteners to the pieces of wood, and then I Gorilla glued the screws into the holes where they originally were. I haven't hung the shelves yet so maybe I'll think about updating them once I do but honestly now that they're super glued I think they'll be fine lol
