Review on πŸͺ‘ Brown Leather Barstool with Backrest by Christopher Knight Home Vlippu by Christina Fritz

Uncomfortable at the extreme

I returned this. 1. The seat has no significant padding. That in itself is not a problem as I actually prefer hard cushions or even wooden seats, but the iron ring around the seat cushion sticks out ca be pressed inwards. . My legs are uncomfortable. This could be corrected with a thicker pad or one that overlaps the ring, but as such I can't use it for more than a short time. 2. The toe ring is too small - it's a thin bar and also not big enough in circumference to be really comfortable. I ended up with my feet tipped forward and my heels hooked into the ring. When I moved my legs to get comfortable, sitting was uncomfortable. Granted, I have to sit with the cushion fully extended (with a bar table) so I need a foot ring to support my foot. 3. The back is not adjustable and too far forward for me. I'm not tall, but I'm not skinny either. Another 1/2 to 1 inch back would be more comfortable. Finally, the "pads" on the soles of the feet are plastic, not rubber or metal, and I suspect that after some use they will wear off, leaving the metal feet on my hardwood floors. Advantages: Robust construction. Even when fully extended, the seat does not wobble and the chair is stable. I find that a stool is fine if you are short and/or sit close to the floor so you don't have to use a toe ring.

Pros
  • Swivel function: With its swivel function, this bar stool ensures maximum comfort in your kitchen or home bar. This allows you to comfortably get in and out of your seat without having to laboriously move the bar stool.
Cons
  • No Vending Machine
