Lid does not stay attached unless glued. But I think it defeats the purpose. I have to be honest I think if you put this on a computer or something where it never moved it would be fine but I make turbo fans for brushless RC motors and this cover just clicks when pressed, sort of like she stays, but you never know when she wins, she falls off. The actual part that is screwed on is ok, but not justified by the price. Look elsewhere.
