Royal Canin Dachshund dog food is just what your Doxy needs! We will soon be having a 10 year old girl who has been feeding Royal Canin since we got her at 3 months old. She loves everything and is always happy when the bag is opened and we ask her "Are you hungry?" Every time we go to the vet they ask what we feed her because she is about 9 pounds thin , she has good muscle strength, bones and teeth even at almost 10. We tell them Royal Canin, so how she was a puppy, they say she should be, also we take great care of her teeth, brush her about 2-3 times a week and wear them as often as we can to avoid steps or anything like that. To this day she behaves like a puppy, even age does not prevent her from having fun. I would highly recommend Royal Canin to anyone wondering what to feed a dachshund. Is it expensive? In my opinion no. If you feed them a small amount each day and how long a 10 pound sack lasts, that's basically a dime a day! Think of all the other things you spend money on material things throughout the day or week. I think your little one is worth the price they pay for their health, well being and care! Right?
