I bought this item at the end of July 2019 and have been using the container weekly since the beginning of August 2019, so have been using it for 2.5 months since mid-October 2019. can be used in the microwave and they are, but over time the plastic will melt. See the attached pictures of the interior, close-ups of the interior and the back of the container where the plastic has melted. I've been using them consistently for 2.5 months and have cooked food in the microwave for 2 minutes. I noticed the melted plastic hole as I ate my lunch and noticed an odd crunchy texture in contrast to the food I cooked. Aside from the melting plastic, the product is not airtight. The container dripped into my lunch bag when tilted and liquids moved to the lid of the container. When cleaning the containers, it becomes difficult to remove the food/fat in the ridges of the container (see two photos of the inside of the container). I would not recommend this product and would suggest switching to glass containers instead. .
