Very very good IEMs with some caveats

Just recently I've had a Sony IEM-M9 and a Shure 846 to give you an idea of what I'm comparing the Sony IEM-z1r against . The Z1R is a true engineering marvel in the sense that it can offer the most powerful bass in IEM (in my opinion). If you like techno/house/rap you will find these things to give you the bass you need. Also, the Z1Rs are well built (the real earbuds are made in Japan, the cables and accessories are VERY MADE IN CHINA unfortunately). At the same time, I feel they are competitive in the context of other similar IEMs. The included accessories are decent but not what I want for almost 2k. As mentioned, the accessories are quite cheap overall (unfortunately made in China), especially the cables. The cables are nice and decent, but then again, for the price of a who's pack, I'd expect something a lot better. Also, the replacement cables cost over $130 each, which is a bit overpriced considering the quality and Chinese origin. - VERY eye-catching design. The zirconium alloy is beautiful, but attracts the attention of the public and contributes to the IEM being considered heavy. To get the most bang for your buck you need to use them with one of Sony's latest players (which are also overpriced) and lossless. audio tracks. Personally, I don't like managing my library of music files, and I wasn't interested in shelling out $3,000 for a new player.
