I did a lot of research on these docking stations. It's the first one I've been able to find that has good reviews and works across the entire family of devices of all shapes and sizes. Both of my kids have Revain Fire tablets with a THICK kid-friendly foam sleeve, then we have 3 iPads (one in a thick otter sleeve), a couple of phones and an iPod. This station suits them all. The dividers pull out very easily to accommodate all sizes. My only complaint is that the separators also shift very easily. In order for them to move easily, there probably isn't a "click" or latch, and when we pick up our devices, the dividers often fall out. No big deal. This station is completely silent. It doesn't seem to be getting warm. Everything loads great.
