My daughter is 2 1/2 years old. to short size 35 inches. I bought it in Spring 2017 to wear a princess dress at Disneyland. He went straight to her ankles without tripping! or do I have to hem :) She will be wearing this for dress up and Halloween for years. She will grow into it and eventually when she is 8 years old she will finally be able to use it as a cloak for Little Red Riding Hood. Super happy. And it's made in Canada. Almost as good as made in the USA. So the quality was. I have the smallest size. Yes, it's a little velvety. Which works for the Princess, Little Red, Witch or Vampire if needed.
