broke right out of my suitcase

I've bought several of these. The bright green sticks out like a thumb, making it easy to identify your luggage. But they have to stay attached to be useful! The one in my carry-on survived, but the one in my luggage/suitcase was broken when my luggage got to my destination. And that was my first trip with that day. There was no evidence I had ever attached it to my suitcase. They simply WILL NOT stand up to gorillas in airline baggage handling! Another issue is the design. You must remove the tag to view owner information. Yes, the owner's name is displayed, but the rest of the information (address, phone number) is not displayed, it is hidden in the tag. I thought of adding a tie to the tag in case the detachable tether came loose, but then anyone who finds your lost luggage would have to remove and cut the ID tag to find out information about the person who owned the luggage. . Yes! way to hit the target! Epic failure for checked baggage!
