In short I am a female 5ft 9in and weight about 130lbs, with the same muscles. I'm a really skinny fat guy lol. For the past few months I've been caring for a 70 pound elderly dog who needed lifting, help to lie down, and assistance with walking and eating. Not my dog or anything. he would be at the farm. For the first time in my 37 years, I have constant pain from lack of strength coupled with constant lifting and bending in a form that I can only assume is erratic. I sleep on my side. Now I wake up all night and every night with terrible back and leg pain that lasts all day. I have never had trouble sleeping or pain. I was looking for some relief sleeping and ordered this body pillow as I am too cheap to buy a memory foam mattress or mattress topper. Received the pillow today. I put it in my dry sauna (well, not mine, but in the house where I live). It puffed up in about ten minutes from the heat (pro tip - the heat causes the memory foam to expand quickly when it comes out). I lay down on it like on a thin mattress. I almost cried from the instant relief. I don't know what happened, but something in my back straightened out and when I got up twenty minutes later, I felt great. Like after a massage in a luxury spa. I usually hate anything in the memory foam genre - and I can't believe this pillow is so amazing. I'm ordering another one now as I'm at my boyfriend's house. The mattress is very firm and will be great to sleep on the side, snuggle in the curtain etc. LOL thanks! Note: I'm quite sensitive to smells and this pillow has a mild latex scent that doesn't overwhelm or overwhelm me. I don't usually have a problem with these smells, but I feel like it's mild and almost goes away after a few hours. pain-free back, hips and legs again. Well, with my own hands and a sewing machine, but you know what I mean.
