I bought these to polish my nails and sometimes the polish got on my skin. The tips of these nail tees were so strong that they didn't soften and didn't make things worse when I applied nail polish remover to them and tried to remove nail polish from my skin without getting the remover on my nail. They also work great when I apply the polish too close to the cuticle. The tip is small enough and strong enough to remove cuticle polish while creating a fine line. Very good product and the cotton is nice and tightly compacted.
