Cable longer than original is good
I recently purchased a non-original power supply for another laptop and the cable from the adapter to the laptop was so short that the adapter was dangling from the laptop in mid-air when I had it on it on my lap was interfering with the laptop's power connection. Both the AC and DC cords on this laptop are nice and long and the DC plug fits my Acer Aspire A515-43-R19L power adapter nicely.
