Doesn't work to make rings bigger
I bought this to try and "stretch" some rings half a size bigger. I saw an article online that explained that you could do this with a ring mandrel and a rubber mallet, so I bought this set. The spike is not quite round (flat on one side). I've tried some cheap rings and it didn't work at all. It's not a bad mandrel just for measuring ring size and it comes with a set of sizing rings which is a nice touch. But if you want to make the ring bigger, it won't work. I take my rings to the jeweler.
