.No matter what brand of shell you are looking for, there are always negative reviews. So finally I said fuck it and went for this one. I just received it and think it's great for the money. The top cover is soft yet smooth to the touch. Perfect for the stickers I already put on it! Late 2010 MacBook Pro 13 model and it fits perfectly. The instructions state that the top cover has three tabs (indicating that it must be placed at the top of the screen) however mine only has two on each end but I still had no problem attaching it and I have it tried both ways. There's a small logo in one corner, but personally I wasn't sure if it should be readable with the lid closed or open, so I put a sticker over it. The bottom cover has rubber grommets attached and they contain 4 extras. The appearance of artificial marble actually looks quite realistic. I chose it to see the Apple logo better and to make my stickers stand out. As it stands I would order again
