I have a LL Bean Continental jerk; This is a great backpack, but the bottom straps are too short to tie to more than a very small summer bag. I bought them with some apprehension due to the lower overall rating. Looking through it, it seems like most people didn't actually measure their strap at (3/4") to make sure they would work overall, so here's the thing. There was also a chance that the buckles didn't match mine Backpack wouldn't work but I decided to put $5 on an easy fix I'm glad I did, they stood straight and gave me the length I needed to fit my winter bag or wool blanket. I am very happy with these straps and it saved me a lot of assembly and handwork time to have everything work the way I wanted.
