I have pretty long lashes, but these ones! Holy cow! My friend wants to buy it now. This increased the length and made it thicker. I love curling my regular mascara at the base to make it thicker. There is chipping, but that's to be expected because you're literally attracting fibers. I've noticed that if I seal the strands well with mascara and then apply regular mascara over them, they don't seem to chip as much. It's definitely worth it and I love using it
