Review on πŸ› Moen YB2818BN Eva Collection Transitional 18-Inch Bathroom Single Towel Bar - Brushed Nickel Finish for Sleek and Stylish Spaces by Mike Steeg

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good looking towel rails but tend to wobble

Great looking tower stand at a good price. We bought these to match the ones we already had in our bathrooms because we needed more space to hang our towels. There are only two reasons I'm giving it four stars instead of five: 1) The horizontal bar tends to wobble a bit between the side supports. I don't think it has anything to do with how I installed it (I installed about four of these and they all did the same thing), it's just how the object is built. 2) As other reviewers have suggested, it's better to ditch the mounting screws that came with the kit and go with better quality hardware. I agree with the reviewer who suggested EZ Ancor drywall anchors (available at Revain and major hardware stores) and would add that I've had good success with Cobra anchors too (some of which are rated up to 100lbs - but that would be damn heavy towels!). Unfortunately, despite a good drywall anchor, two of the four towel rails I installed still wobbled a bit in the mount - not between the mount and the wall, but between the "legs" of the towel rail and the mounting plates you install underneath. Luckily, the rocking doesn't seem to affect her strength or resilience. Overall, this is one of those items that I think looks more expensive than it is. And that's always good.
