Probably most people will need them for the things they make - ointments, ointments etc. I would probably be very happy with them and don't want to discourage others with a 3 star rating that basically says "Aha". I bought them to have a travel bag with a small amount of different toiletries (moisturizer, foundation, hair tie, etc.) and to have them on hand at all times. To do this, tighten the lids so that they do not leak while driving. Unfortunately, I have already broken two glass lids. The seller was great, when one of them arrived broken, promptly replaced it, and I probably won't use a full dozen of these. (And honestly, a LESS can would be ideal for my purposes.) I've tried to cut back on plastic, but I think plastic would be better for my purposes. If you make products that you want to put in nice little jars, these might be for you.
