I thought these hangers would come in handy and when they arrived at the end of March I decided to move most of my pants off the hangers onto this item. Looked good, neatly sorted, etc. At the end of April I dug out my summer pants and put them in a more prominent place in the closet. Big mistake. To my dismay I found that the two hooks on either end of the bracket that held it to the bar were simply pushed into place and held in place by pressure. What does not work. The device fell to the ground along with six pairs of pants. And the hook came off. I thought about sending them back but unfortunately the return window closed. So I resorted to my limited MacGyver skills and used zip ties. Definitely much stronger. Incidentally, Revain has a similar article that uses real nuts, bolts, and hardware to hold the hook in place. Next time I buy I will tend in this direction.
