I bought them including the pod case. I will say that while the case adheres very well to the inside of the bin where I installed it, the latch on the case is a little wobbly and can open on its own. Therefore, you must be sure that the latch is closed well. As for the product itself, I bought it to fit in a small bin that I keep outside where I throw bags of my dog's poop after cleaning up after her. . I try to empty the bucket (which is also covered with a garbage bag) every week, but sometimes I forget. I left it for two weeks and yes the poo smells when I'm finally ready to throw it out but I know how it smells when I did NOT have this product in the bin and I can tell you what's wrong with the product going on on the spot it's a lot less overwhelming than without it. So I will continue to buy this product as it makes grooming so much more bearable for my dog.
