This bed lasted me a year. On a 100 lb dog I wouldn't expect it to last long. The material is a little canvas like outdoor materials, so it's a bit rough. But it holds up to dozens of machine washes, dog plays, and multi-state car rides. After about four months and a few machine washes the color has faded a bit but the stitching, seams and zippers are still great. Negative. The plush pillow filling straightened out very quickly. I ended up stuffing the old dog beds in the same bag to save some of the stuffing. I recently bought a giant memory foam and cut it to the same shape to fit in the same blanket because I love the color and the shape and size are perfect, but it was too flat for my large dog. If I had been offered more padding, I probably would have bought four or five by now.
