Review on ZEUS Stainless Steel Beard & Mustache Comb - Handcrafted, EDC, Heavy-Duty, Sturdy, Durable, Hair Styling, Anti-Static Comb - T22 by Katie Evans

I was first drawn to this comb for the aesthetics which are very appealing. I love the look of stainless steel and the brushed look of metal. The lightning bolt and Zeus logo are nice touches. I pride myself on pulling out this comb in public to quickly comb my beard. From a functional point of view, the comb has some problems. I want thinner teeth. Even after very light use, I found that some of the teeth were bent. I can bend them with my fingers, but that's not a reliable solution. My biggest complaint is that the comb hung *terribly* out of the box. Even with a freshly oiled beard, she clung and pulled her hair out. with every hit. I almost wanted to put it aside forever but decided to give it a try and polish it. Using 220 grit sandpaper, I sanded all four edges of each tooth. After just a few minutes of polishing, the comb is perfect. No catch. I also made sure to round off the top of the teeth so the metal wouldn't scratch my skin as much. However, I know that most people don't want to try this solution, and rightly so. It is simply stupid to modify a product in such a way that it can only do the job for which it was designed. It might have been better to get a black version of the comb as the coating process can result in rounded corners. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone unless I knew they were willing to put some effort into making it. Work. However, I'm happy to keep using mine as it works pretty well.
