I had really high hopes for this wallet. I really did. I LOVE the red color. It was one of the most important details that sold me in this wallet. The red is nice and bright, just the way I like it. I also liked that the wallet closes with a button and there are compartments for credit cards. HOWEVER, I DON'T LIKE how thin the wallet is, that it only has five credit card slots, and most importantly, I HATED how short the snap closure was. Why so short? You can literally just keep your checkbook, a few cards and nothing else in this wallet. It's so thin and the clasp is so short you can't put anything else inside. I bought this wallet to replace my old check book holder. My old checkbook stand had 6 credit card slots, a slot for my ID, and the latch was large enough to hold up to 6 cash envelopes. You barely put 2 thin envelopes of cash in this wallet WITHOUT a checkbook. Doesn't meet my needs at all. But if you're looking for a wallet just to carry your checkbook with you, then a wallet is what you need. But for my needs this wallet is a super NO and I will be returning it immediately for a refund.
