We went through this when kids scraped their knees when they were little. Now that I have a teenager who just started skateboarding, Nexcare comes to the rescue again. I went back to the old box to find the leftover one and was pleasantly surprised to find that the bandage we had kept in the closet for years was still sticky. This size is enough to cover the entire wound and it stays in place. The dressing technique is ingenious. Do not remove the narrow strips of paper covering the thin plastic until the bandage is in place. That way the plastic doesn't fold itself and you don't have to start all over again. Then peel off this paper and ensure seamless adhesion to the skin. I've never had a problem with them sweating or swimming. Hopefully his skateboarding skills will improve or he'll get bored and I won't have to buy another box any time soon. But if I do, I'll definitely get the exact same bandages.
