The most important thing I like about modx is that it has multiple ways in which you can create your own modules, so if there's something missing from its library then we have our options open for creating those ourselves as well. We are using this software primarily because of how easy it was to set up an e-commerce website with it. It also doesn't require any technical knowledge or experience at all; anyone who knows HTML will be able to get started easily enough! There really isn't anything bad to say here. If you're looking into getting some sort of CMS system for yourself but don't want to spend too much money, this would certainly fit the bill perfectly. Not only does it give us access to such great features (like being able to add custom fields), but it gives me peace of mind knowing that my site won't go down when someone tries to hack it.
