I bought two of these blankets. I wanted something cool in temperature but heavy in weight at the same time. Both came clean in packaging with no rips, scuffs, stains or broken threads. Both felt very soft. I immediately washed both of them per directions (cold, gentle cycle. Low temp tumble dry). Please note that the label says DO NOT dry clean. A duvet fits perfectly in my normal sized washing machine with a stirrer in the middle. After washing and drying both comforters, they still looked pristine. There were no tears, no stretching, no bumps. This was very important to me as we have two dogs that sleep in the bed and I needed something to wash. After drying they are still a bit fluffy. I tucked both duvets into a king size duvet cover. There is a small loop at each corner of the blanket. We have only slept with him for 3 nights so far. Two duvets together give my duvets a very fluffy yet weighty/cozy feel. However, I haven't been hot with them at night so far. UPDATE: We've been sleeping with this product for about 6 months. They have probably been washed/dried 3 times without damaging either of our duvets. Both look intact. However, as soon as it happened in July (in Virginia) we switched to one blanket instead of two because it was too hot. A comforter with a duvet cover is perfect for our hot weather. Still cozy but not too hot!
