I needed headphones from a semi-professional camcorder to chunky professional headphones. (which still uses a larger plug). I record commercial video and set it to extremely high value and reliability, no connection issues. I absolutely can't stand being distracted by weak connections when trying to interview someone. (or something else in the field.) A year later this connection gave me no problems. It's not really a high wear situation, but it's a field job with the cable shaking and tugging almost all the time. throw away the fork.
