I love everything about this bag. It's incredibly well made and sturdy, both inside and out. The outer leather is fairly sturdy, but that just means it's built to last - it will soften and take on a beautiful patina and character with age. I've had so many handbags with brittle linings that tear or have holes, and I have to rummage through the "pockets" created by those tears to find keys, lip balm, or whatever. The inner lining of this bag is made of durable canvas. It looks and wears like something I might use on an Indiana Jones expedition, you know. could ever happen. I expect to use it for many years (and years).
