This powder is so beautiful; it is whitish with a golden tinge/iridescence. I mix my own face powder and add a heavy hand to create an optical effect in my makeup without the greasy or oily look most dedicated powders leave behind. It works very well as an eyeshadow, either alone or over a lighter color; this gives that color a metallic or pearly gold sheen. PRIMER required for eye shadow use alone; and if you need it to last long without touching up; He also needs a fixing spray. It makes an excellent embossing powder in arts and crafts projects - mix directly with paint for brilliant effects, with glue for accents on stationary objects; or as a rubbing pigment over primed sculptures. I add it to acrylic paint to create a bright, shiny metallic effect when painting over a matte black surface. I have a few other gold colors that they sell and I love them all. As makeup; It washes off very easily and washes clothes without leaving stains.
