I pulled it out of my bag and smelled quite strongly of chemicals. I wasn't overly concerned, just needed some air, but it's STRONG. The reason for the lack of stars is that the waist is not elastic, it is firmly sewn and does NOT stretch. My 4 year old daughter got loose on the size SMALL which is suitable for 6-7 year olds. She is tall but skinny as a pole. It was a wrench to put both hands through the holes to tighten. I am absolutely amazed that a baby dress would be designed like this without any other opening or closing shapes. We ordered a different style maxi dress from another seller and it was exactly what I expected with an elasticated waist.
