Review on Dream On Me Karley Bassinet Blue/Grey - Enhanced SEO by Andrea Sweet

Mismatched weight limits

We used it as a newborn bed for about 2 weeks. We took it from our room to the living room at night to have it close by and it's not too much of a nuisance even in a two story house. I think it folds up easily, but my husband isn't worried and it (barely) gets through doors and stairs. The material isn't the prettiest, so not the perfect lace and ribbon bassinet, but it's not ugly either. Appreciate the mesh sides and zipped upper if we ever needed protection from bugs? I think we would be ready if my husband could get me some stock. A BIG PROBLEM - when we bought this the weight limit on the description was 25 or 30 pounds, slightly above what every newborn should be within at least a few months. The mattress has a warning label (as shown) stating that the weight limit is 10 pounds only. Our little one was born a little early (that's another thing I loved about it - great birth!) and she's a little smaller than both of my boys, weighing only 6 1/2 pounds at 2 weeks. My boys would be too heavy for this way 3 months ago then I expect the bassinet to hold up. (However, they were large and growing quickly). So if you have a large baby, you might want to consider a different bassinet. I bet the weight limit is over 10 pounds, but I wouldn't risk it with my newborn either.
