Two criticisms: First, some proportions are slightly smaller than famous brand caps. Yes, the diameter can be adjusted to almost any cap size with the adjustable strap. But the brim is slightly narrower than a famous brand hat, and the cloth portion itself is about 1/2 to 1 inch smaller in diameter. So, I'm 6 feet tall with a 7 1/4 hat size. It works for me, but I notice that it's more comfortable than my name's hats. For those smaller than me this should work just fine, but if you're taller than me, I wouldn't understand. Second, he needs more ventilation. If you look at the pictures, they don't all match. I think some of them are generic images of other caps. Some of the photos show ventilation holes on the top, some don't. The one I received has NO ventilation holes. But overall this is a really great hat. Well built, fabric rather than plastic strap, easy to adjust, double stitched, feels solid and love the shape, color and how it fits. I also like the navy blue color and emblem on it (don't know what that means lol though).
