Fantastic crib tent, set up in the wind but has problems with the baby monitor

Firstly it's a fantastic crib tent, our son's crib is a sold wooden crib with pointed edges and reaches a Gothic height Cathedral and all the floors in our house are tiled. So taking care of our baby at the age of two years and one month is very important. Falling on a tile floor is not an option, and neither is a stray toddler in a 2,500-square-foot house at night. It's very secure, and we installed it when it looked like the climbing light in our little three-footed friend's head was about to come on. We decided that if we set it up before the escape plan was implemented, it would never know what the escape plan was until the tent was pitched. I suggest venting this air three or four days prior to installation, although there is a smell, the smell quickly dissipates after about three or four days. The baby monitor is the only problem we had. We played around and found a way to get this to work, but our monitor camera needs to be positioned directly over the mesh to be able to see through it. Mount it on the wall and look down on the children's tent does not work. I will post a photo of where our camera is and what it looks like on the monitor. We are happy with this tent because we can go to bed knowing our son will be safe and not going to fall out and fall. It cost us money to have peace of mind until we move to a crib for about three years.
