Shoes come with artificial laces and regular laces. There was no way to crush the leg with the ridiculous fake lace, no way to loosen it. So ok we use the extra kit they come with, only problem is the wrong laces are permanently attached! There was no beginning so we cut off the top to tighten it. When we get to the end of the draw, we can see that it is attached under the lining of the shoe. We would literally have to cut open the shoe to take it off and put regular laces in, ruining the shoe. Absolutely weird shoes. Don't waste money.
