I've been looking for shoes like this for a long time. My 6 year old wore Keens and they were a nightmare for me (hate to say that!). The laces on Keen, the same as on this shoe, broke from day one. We went to the store several times to have them repaired. The sole also wore out very quickly. We've had them for 2 weeks now and wear them every day. The first day they were stiff and stiff, but since wearing them for the first time my son has had no more problems. The laces work and haven't snapped, and they keep his feet dry in very wet weather in Portland, Oregon. I'll be back in a month but so far so good. And the price is unbeatable!
