I purchased this head gasket replacement kit but ended up replacing all the gaskets included in that kit as mine were all torn. The job itself is quite easy but took about 5 hours with the help of 1 person (I'm not a mechanic but I try to do as much maintenance myself as possible. This is my first headgasket change). We chose to remove all of the side plastic and the gas tank to make access as easy as possible. We then removed the airbox and carburetor. From then on everything just fell apart. All gaskets proved to be of decent quality and fit EXCEPT the exhaust pipe gasket. This one was a bit big for my '94 Sportsman where the holes went over the studs. We just drilled the holes to the right size and used them anyway. So far so good with this mod as it doesn't seem to affect the sealing ability of this gasket. forward).
