These buttons are for birds. Hooray!

Two of my cockatoos love playing with colorful beads and I was looking for a more affordable option as the beads inevitably end up on the floor of their cages or on the floor outside their cages (the end goal of their little game ). ). I've spent countless hours sorting through the trash and trying to salvage some of the pearls over the past 15+ years, but most have been thrown away or vacuumed up. These buttons are a great alternative to the beads I used to buy (200-300 for $10). They were just as happy to have a handful of buttons in their little buckets and I love that the biggest buttons are a real challenge for them as they throw themselves over their heads and slip out of the cage bars. Keeps them entertained and engaged for at least 1/2 hour. That's a lot of time for a cockatoo! (I have a Goffin Cockatoo and they are fine with the smallest buttons which are not a choking hazard but I would not recommend them for larger cockatoos or macaw sized birds.) Great colors and a good selection of buttons. I pulled out a few matching sets for sewing things like birdcage covers. I can see them being very useful for all types of crafts. Excellent value for money and quality!
