They are much thicker than I hoped! However, as other reviewers have noted, there is a size variation - in both width and length. Most annoying are the jagged topstitching evident on the navy blue and gray hats I photographed. When worn, uneven stitching is very noticeable. However, it's $15 for three hats, so I got what I expected for the price. It's probably worth just investing in one with a well-known brand behind it, but oh well.
