Looks functional but good. I like them mainly because they catch condensation from cold glasses that seeps through most other coasters. The design also prevents them from sticking to the bottom of the cups when you pick them up. While I like the look of other stands better, these work, and in the end, what matters is what they protect. All other coasters are therefore not suitable for the situation or only for hot drinks. They are ideal for hot and cold drinks.
