If you have half-stupid cats, that's pretty good. I also have a cat with CH (disability) and he can use it! Likes: • Feels strong enough • I have 3 cats. Mine also came with a black weather shield, while white would have made more sense to match the device. • When it's 'latched', it simply means there's a small, nifty latch at the bottom that snaps into the flap. My solution is to add a child lock (the kind you can use on the fridge) to secure it in place if I want it to stay closed. • There is a small magnet which I think should help close the lid when the cat walks through. However, mine doesn't work at all and I definitely need to close it myself. • I wanted to remove the bottom handles as they are a bit flush. There are very odd instructions on how to do this, but my husband and I (who have assembled a lot of furniture) couldn't figure it out. high.
