I got this for my 7 year old daughter for school pajama day and it was an instant hit. She loves Mindcraft and immediately said "Oh Creepers". Like I know what she said lol. definitely an excited, happy kid. If they wear 7-8 make sure you take 8 because it fits. Not big, fits well.
