I bought these to wear under a removable cast (boot) that I have to wear for another month. I was looking for something that would keep my skin from rubbing on the inside of the boot, and grossly, to keep the skin that is flaking off from getting everywhere. These certainly work for getting the skin to be contained in the sock. The sock, however, is pretty uncomfortable. It is basically just a straight line, it doesn't have a heel sewn in, so it bunches at the bend in the ankle, which is uncomfortable under my boot. Also, it tends to pull my toes instead of moving with them. I would have returned these, but I wore one of them for a day, and quite frankly, left a lot of my skin in it and thought it was really disrespectful to return the product like that. I'm going to go to walmart and see if I can find any knee socks.
