I spilled a spray bottle of household cleaner in the trunk of my SUV. It must have been old because the smell was awful, like very strong acidic vinegar. He got in the car. Tried spraying Febriz. Huge mistake. Only made it worse. I've tried putting litter boxes and charcoal briquettes in the car to absorb the smell. It was of no use. It just won't go away, even after a few months. I was hesitant to try another spray for fear of making things worse. I saw the reviews for this product and decided to give it a try. After the first use the smell is gone. I can almost smell the new car I had before the accident. The product was safe and did not stain the car's black cloth upholstery at all. I applied the second application for thoroughness, but it really wasn't necessary. This product worked like a charm.
