I've never used headphones like this so there was definitely some confusion when I tried them for the first time as they are counterintuitive , at least not in my opinion. Each earbud has a small circle that controls it. When I first started trying to use them, I didn't realize that was what it was controlling. I thought the power button was a small charging contact until I noticed that touching it didn't seem to do anything and I took a closer look at the instructions. To control them, press the small round button to control them. 2-tap to play/pause media Enable device support (Siri or Google Assistant) 3-tap Redial last number tap and hold to toggle on/off It took me a while to get used to it. Although he was careful and only wanted to touch it once, he started calling. I have accidentally called her 4 times just to take care of her. For this reason I award 4 stars. These round buttons are VERY delicate! Until you get used to it, I highly recommend calling your voicemail before you edit it so that when he starts calling the last number, he calls your voicemail instead of making you uncomfortable and awkward with random calls. The sound quality is pretty good, but I hear a little hissing when they're not playing, but maybe I'm just sensitive to that kind of thing. From what I can tell, these headphones appear to be pretty solid. I was in it and they fell on the hard floor a couple of times. They survived the fall without noticeable damage. It was about a 5 foot drop. Overall my first impression of them is that they are ok.
