When I first opened these hats I thought they were too big and my kids wouldn't wear them. I was wrong - they were perfect! My son collected sharks and my daughter collected turtles - green and fun sea creatures too!) The sunshade was perfect for the kids on the beach and covered the back of their heads. The strap was great, especially on windy days. I had a large for my 4 year old and a medium for my 2 year old. Both fit perfectly with little room to grow. We have bought many beach hats over the years and these have been our favourites.
