I was able to inflate these balloons with the electric pump and straw that was provided. It was difficult at first, but once the air came in, it took about 20 seconds to fill with air. We tied the numbers together with the balloon tie holes. However, do not pull the rope to the right. The hinges broke and we had to tape the balloons together with double sided tape. It worked and the balloons looked amazing with the bow.
